 Belief & Betrayal is an adventure game putting the players into the role of the journalist Jonathan Danter, who - after the mysterious death of his uncle - gets involved in a dangerous church conspiracy. This first patch fixes a few sound and DirectX/Vista issues.
Für Belief&Betrayal steht ab sofort ein Patch zu Verfügung. Im Folgenden das Patchlog für das Update:
1. Wenn der Spieler einen benötigten Codec nicht hat, oder dieser durch einen anderen Codec beeinflusst wurde, ist das Spiel trotzdem spielbar (also kein schwarzer Bildschirm im Prolog), allerdings ohne Hintergrundmusik.
2. Im Installer kommt eine Meldung (mit Link zum K-Lite-Codec-Pack), dass man den Codec runterladen soll, falls das Spiel ohne Hintergrundmusik läuft. Nach der Installation des Codec Packs läuft das Spiel mit Musik.
3. Es wird die directX-Datei d3drm.dll installiert, die unter Vista fehlt und dort kleinere Probleme hervorruft. (Hat man diese Datei NICHT, erfolgt zunächst eine Fehlermeldung, man kann dann aber normal starten).
