ASUS G2S resolve for BF2 and BF2142

The screen refresh rate on the ASUS G2S is set at 62mhz and cannot be adjusted. Battlefield 2 and 2142 games are designed to run on pc's with a screen refresh rate of 60mhz. The typical result is when you go to start the game the battlefield game will appear to start, the screen will flicker a second and then you will get dumped back to your desktop. Go to your documents folder and open the battlefield folder. Inside you will see profiles. OPen profiles and go to the video file. Open the file with notepad and change the refresh rate from 60 to 62 and save the file. Now go back and start the game. I'm not sure if other notebooks have this issue but it's worth looking into if you're have a similar problem. Happy Gaming!!!
