The Xbox One is finally here after months of hearing about rumors and plans from Microsoft. It has been picked up from stores quickly and is going to change the home media experience considerably. You will never see a movie or listen to music in the same way again; let alone play a video game.
Place the Things You Want Right There
At the moment, whatever system you use, you need to go through a bunch of listings or things that you simply don’t want. This is changing with Xbox One. Now you will be able to customize your whole experience. You get to choose your favorites that you want to get to on a daily basis, whether it is movies that you’ve downloaded or games that you love to play.
But everything that you want access to is not going to be listed under your favorites. This is where the library comes in. Everything that you have on the the Xbox One is stored in your library. It is organized between movies, TV shows, music, games and even apps. Searching through these function is easy, so you get to see what you want and when you want.
Even the home screen is personalized to your taste. It becomes everything you want.
Automatic Logins for Quicker Access
There are so many issues with passwords and locked accounts. They take time to access and then you forget the passwords and need to change them on a regular basis. With this new Microsoft console, you will never need to log into it again. Once it is set up and you have the Kinect connected, it will recognize you and automatically log you in. When there is more than one person in the room, it will also recognize that and set up the system for everyone to play.
Whatever Xbox you are logged into, your screen will be shown. You can go to a friend’s house and access your own movies for everyone to watch. If you want your friends to share their content at your house, that is possible with a quick change of settings at the top. It’s really simple and there is no need to go through DVDs and CDs again; everything is right there.
When you do want to change, the console is voice activated. You just ask it to show your stuff and it will. The hardest bit will be setting up the Xbox for all this.
Invites Right to Your Screen
There is no longer the need to have a lot of devices running at the same time. Nor is there a need to miss out on something. The Kinect has you logged into everything at once, whether you have Skype, Xbox Live or your social media. All the notifications are sent straight to your screen and you can decide whether you want to answer them or wait.
Chat to the Whole Family at Once
Skype on a computer is great—you can call people around the world and see them face-to-face. However, there are limitations and one of those is the small screen. Trying to fit a whole family on the screen is near impossible and just not comfortable. Xbox One with Kinect allows you to Skype from the comfort of your living room and shows a wider screen, allowing the whole family to be there at once.
You can also walk around while Skyping now, which is great if you are trying to show something. The camera in the Kinect will travel as you walk, making sure you are in shot. If you move towards the camera, it will zoom out and vice versa and all through software. You don’t need to do a thing!
Record Your Gaming
Another great feature that will change your entertainment at home is the ability to record your game play. This is through Xbox Live and will allow you to share spots of your game play with your friends. It’s also great for those finishes in races or when two friends are up against each other in games. You can record the whole thing and make sure the winner is really crowned the victor. When you do post the clips, friends are notified to make sure they don’t miss the action.
The Xbox One is a revolutionary device from Microsoft, so it’s no wonder it’s so popular. It is now available and really will change your gaming and home entertainment experience. Delve into the world of the Xbox and get rid of the extra power-wasting devices around your home.
